Ad club to host cruise luncheon
   Edward Thomas, president and chief executive officer of the West Indian Company will address the Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands on Tuesday, November 9, at a noon luncheon aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ship, Navigator of the Seas.

Annual meeting June 4
   The annual island style meeting of the Ad Club is set for Friday, June 4, from 6:30 to 8:30p.m.at the new Limetree Beach Bistro at Bluebeard Villas, past Antilles School in St.Thomas.
  Members are invited to share food, camaraderie and fun, and meet the 2004 -2005 Board of directors and Jerry Doty, former governor of the Fourth district of the American Advertising Federations, who is flying from Florida for the event.

Professional Series continues into 2004Jason Maltby will  address  the ad club March 9 and 10
   The Ad Club's 2003-2004 Professional Series, which kicked off with a panel of tourism professionals from five Caribbean islandsl in October, followed by Ed Thomas, CEO of West Indian Company, Catherine Bolton COO Public Relations Society of America and motivational speaker Milt Simon, continues through May. A March 9 presentation in St.Thomas and March 10 in St.Croix will focus on the ABC's of buying media

Holiday parties in St. Thomas, St.Croix
   Holiday parties for St.Thomas and St.Croix members and their guests are being planned. The St. Thomas party will be Saturday, December 13 at the home of Dotty Sparks DeBlanc. The theme "Tapestry of Tradiitons" invites each guest to bring a dish representative of the Virgin Island's ethnic heritage. Watch this website and your e-mail for communiques about the menu. Those who can't or won't cook are welcome to bring spirits. The party is FREE for members and their guests.

Volunteer now for coming event and activities
   The Advertising Club of the VirginIslands is an active organization. Luncheons with professional presentation of interest to the advertising and business community occur the second Tuesday of each month beginning at noon. There are also fundraisers, an internship program, and of course the annual ADDY/ADVI gala.

Ad club auction to benefit internship programCaribbean Auto Mart is sponsoring the auction March 7
   If you ever have wished to parasail, host a special evening for four in your own home with a personal chef or escape to Puerto Rico for the weekend, you can do it all - and much more if you attend the Ad Club Auction, March 7, 6:30 pm at Pistarckle Theater at Tillett Gardens. Beginning at 6:30p.m. attendees will get the chance to bid on a variety of goods and services for a good cause. The entry price is $10 per person and includes complimentary hors d'ouevres and a drink.

   Howard Bell, President Emeritus on the American Advertising Federation's board of directors and President of the Federation's educational foundation will be the featured speaker at the Advertsing Club of the Virgin Islands's Feburary luncheon

Garry Duell, Jr to address ad club November 12 and 13.Garry Duell
   Garry Duell Jr, Publisher and CEO of the Miami based Herald Custom Publishing Co., will address the Ad Club at Noon November 12 at The Old Mill Restaurant in St.Thomas, and November 13 at Caravelle Hotel in St.Croix. His topic : Marketing Solutions for the Travel and Tourism Industry, will draw upon his expertise in producing tourism publications.
