Strategic Plannning
   The Strategic Planning Committee will continue to develop, revise, refine and update the Virgin Islands Bar Association's three (3) year Strategic Plan and undertake studies of major programmatic and administrative issues of importance to the Virgin Islands Bar Association.

   Technology Committee will work with the Bar Journal Committee to improve the Bar's web site, The Virgin Islands Bar Herald (; evaluate and comment on technology issues as they relate to the legal profession and the administration of justice; and advise the Bar on the technology needs of its members and ways in which it can meet those needs.

Unauthorized Practice of Law
   The Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee is charged by the Territorial Court to investigate all complaints against any person not authorized to practice law in the Virgin Islands, who is alleged to be performing acts or services constituting the practice of law, to take action as necessary against the unauthorized practice of law, and to prevent the unauthorized practice of law within the Territory.

Women in the Profession
   Women in the Profession Committee shall assess the current status of women in the legal profession and identify the career paths of women lawyers and the goals with respect to the practice and the Bar.

Young Lawyers
   The Young Lawyers Committee as the territorial organization of young lawyers is to provide leadership in serving the Virgin Islands public and the profession and to promote excellence and fulfillment in the practice of law. To accomplish its mission, the Young Lawyers Committee shall further the objectives of the Virgin Islands Bar Association, stimulate the interest of young lawyers in the activities of the Association; conduct programs of interest and value to young lawyers and those recently admitted to practice; be of assistance to the Association and its other Committees; assist in the establishment, improvement and coordination of young lawyer organizations in both the Judicial District of St. Croix and the Judicial District of St. Thomas-St. John and promote the involvement of young lawyers in public service activities.
